Business Simulation Program

Case Study based Business simulation

Business Advisory Clinic uses business simulation as an experiential learning tool where participants run a virtual business in a simulated environment. The simulation game lets users practice real-world skills in a realistic and risk-free setting that creates an interactive and fun learning experience.

Some benefits of business simulations are that they permit students to experience and test themselves in situations before encountering them in real life, they permit students to experiment and test hypotheses.

It will be designed to develop leadership competencies based on creativity and innovation

Scenario planning

  • Mirroring the case study approach, business simulation games give students the chance to explore the dynamics of specific business environments or markets utilizing applied learning without the threat of ‘real world’ side affects.
  • As simulated disruptions affect the company in the form of economic challenges, human resource constraints, service disruptions, and more the role players need to manage the changing conditions with team work and planning through scenarios experimentation.

Strategic thinking

  • Participants practice skills ranging from market and financial analysis, to decision making and improved teamwork, participants really understand the complexities of running a business.
  • Engaging strategizing, financial analysis and teamwork as they have to deal with the consequences of their business decisions. The result of this is a higher level of learning made possible with business simulations.

Role Playing

  • Participants receive a role – founder, investor, employee – and sufficient information to be able to make decisions in their respective roles. The game allows students to employ applied learning to the impact of negotiations, deal-making and the power of interpersonal communications in business.
  • Business skills like Marketing, Finance, Strategic Planning, Human Resources will be facilitated blended with cohort based experimentation and application
